NOW IS YOUR CHANCE!! Both A.M.E.C. (Adirondack Motor Enthusiasts Club) and S.C.C.V. (Sports Car Club of Vermont) are holding timed speed autocross events on the pavement of Albany-Saratoga Speedway's 4/10ths mile oval and on Devil's Bowl Speedway's full Half Mile. This is not your usual parking lot deal with tight gates and twisty corners! This is for people who like to open it up and carry some speed through the pylon gates as they traverse the new asphalt on a real race track. There are classes to suit most any type of car. All events are timed. We generally open the concession stands in the pits for lunch, serving burgers, dogs and fries. These are day-long events and spectators are free and welcome to come watch the action. All are welcome to go to the respective websites of both organizations to learn more or to register for upcoming events. Event dates are also posted on the schedule pages of both facilities.
